AFSL Disclosure

General disclosure
VESTBRIDGE is a referral and matching platform operated by Inevara Pty Ltd. Inevara Pty Ltd does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and does not provide financial product advice. The platform does not facilitate the provision of a financial service as defined under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
Advisor AFSL requirements
Financial planners, SMSF specialists, mortgage brokers, and insurance advisors listed on VESTBRIDGE are required to hold a valid AFSL issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), or to be authorised representatives of an AFSL holder. VESTBRIDGE verifies AFSL numbers against the ASIC Financial Adviser Register at the time of onboarding. Licensees are responsible for maintaining the currency and validity of their licence.
Tax agent requirements
Accountants and tax advisors listed on VESTBRIDGE are required to hold a valid registration with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB). VESTBRIDGE verifies Tax Agent Numbers (TANs) against the TPB register at the time of onboarding.
No advice relationship
Using VESTBRIDGE to locate or contact an advisor does not create an advice relationship. Any financial advice you receive is given by the individual advisor under their own AFSL or TPB registration, not by VESTBRIDGE or Inevara Pty Ltd. You should receive and review a Financial Services Guide (FSG) from any advisor before engaging their services.
Verification disclaimer
While VESTBRIDGE takes reasonable steps to verify advisor credentials at the time of onboarding and periodically thereafter, credential status can change. We recommend independently verifying advisor credentials before engaging their services via ASIC’s Financial Advisers Register or the TPB Public Register.
